Getting into a skin care routine can be overwhelming, we get it. Sometimes it helps to take a look at someone else’s routine to help you get started. So we are starting with Katie’s Routine. And while this looks like a lot of steps, Katie cranks out this routine in 5 minutes so don’t feel overwhelmed by the list!

  1. CLEANSER

The cleanser katie uses is dependent on her skin in the morning.
If she is having a breakout she uses salicyclic acne cleanser
If her skin is feeling more on the Normal side - Her go to cleanser is the Chamomile Cleanser

  2. TONER

Katie uses her toner when she is having an active breakout - Our Dual Action Toner is perfect for most skin types, so look no further!

  3. LASH FILLER

Okay guys, If you haven’t started use this.. get on it! This lash filler works wonders and makes your lashes visibly stronger and longer. Like whoa.

  4. Blemish Detox Pads

If you have acne prone skin, these are for you. They work great to control oil, and reduce breakouts and clogged pours. Plus the Blemish Detox comes in easy to use pads.

  5. Vita Soothe -or- Ha Serum

Okay so Katie switches between these two on step 5 depending on her skin that morning. (similar to how she switched up her cleanser) - Let your skin speak to you!

Vita soothe is the ride or die here. It is the perfect serum that helps make your skin super soft and calms all the redness.

But, When Katie is having a super dry morning (Hello Winter) She switches over to the HA Boost Serum. This baby has all the hydrating power you need to get you through the dry skin season.

  6. vita c stem

okay - the Vita C-Stem Serum really does it all so you can’t miss this step. Katie uses this to lessen wrinkles, shield from toxins, reduce blackheads…. the list goes on… basically, you’re going to want this amazing product working its magic on your skin.

  7. ultra benefits -OR- green tea

Ultra benefits is Katie’s go-to every day moisturizer. soaks right in without feeling heavy or leaving any oils behind.

BUT - on the days where she is having a hormonal breakout or just noticing that her skin is acting up - she goes the green tea route. The green tea Serum has all the antioxidants your skin needs to calm down your acne and reduce redness. PLUS - it is the perfect primer for makeup!

  8. advanced retinol (OPTIONAL)

Okay so this is an as-needed step. Katie usually keeps her retinol use for her night time routine (blog post coming soon), but sometimes if she is having breakouts she adds some serum in the morning. The Advanced Retinol is used only if she is not going to be outside and she always applies spf just in case.

  9. ultra benefits eye gel

oh sweeet sweet ultra benefits eye gel… let me count the ways. With the benefits of targeting crow’s feet and dark circles, katie never misses this step in her morning routine.

  10. spf

I DONT THINK KATIE CAN STRESS THIS ENOUGH. OR ANYONE REALLY. spf is so important if its the only thing you do, at least protect your skin from the sun. We have added a bunch of options for spf protection to our skin care line, so feel free to check them all out.
Because this is katie’s skin care line, she obviously keeps her options open. If she is on the go - you guessed it, protect & go mineral powder is the perfect solution. otherwise, the daily (30spf) or ultra (40spf) are her go-tos depending on her day.

  11. lippie benefits

LAst, but certainly not least, she ends her routine with a little plump. Lippie benefits are perfect for adding a little plump without the needle.
